  Can I use my existing number?

A: Yes. You can port your number over to TelAssistant. Or, you can simply remote call forward from your existing phone number to one of our phone numbers here at the TelAssistant office that will be assigned to you and you alone.

 

  Can I have several different area codes?

A: Yes. We can provide you any area code in the country. You tell us what area codes you want, and we will provide you with them. This is a perfect solution if you have – or would like to have - a presence in more than one location.

 

  What is TelAssistant?

A: A TelAssistant is a new way to have a live assistant and a service at a fraction of the cost.

A: A remote receptionist is someone who is trained on your specific procedures, who knows you, knows your company, and knows how you want things done. What a TelAssistant is NOT is a plain-Jane answering service with an impersonal operator who merely answers the phone and takes a message. She is your receptionist taking care of all of your reception and telephone answering needs; she just happens to work from our remote location instead of yours.

  How does this work?

A: Through your training and guidance, our staff becomes your staff. We use the latest technology to seamlessly connect your callers to you where ever you are. We announce the caller's name and what the call is regarding and give you the option to take the call or not. You may even give us a message to relay back to the caller. It is just as if we are sitting in the same office as you and intercom you when you receive a call. All of this happens invisibly to the caller.
